Father God,
Thank you so much for all the continued blessings you pour out on me. You have been so faithful by my side through all that is happening. Everything seems so hard and then I turn to you, and everything just seems ok. I am not saying, Father, that I am not struggling. I find myself floundering in pain all the time. The difference is, I don't remain there. I don't stay stuck in the circle of pain anymore. Now that I have let you in my life, and my heart the entire world is different somehow.
Things are so good, yet so hard right now. I need you more than ever. I love that I know I don't even have to ask for help. You are just there constantly, I need only remember and turn to you. I am trying to do just that. Be the christian you deserve me to be. You were so willing to sacrifice for me. I want to be that for you. It is hard though, to give up all the things of the world I have grown used to as being normal way of living. It is harder to do than I would have ever imagined. I want it to be easy, Lord. Why can't it be easy?
Cover me Lord in your strength and perseverance. I know that without you I can accomplish nothing, but through you I can do anything. Enlighten me Father in the ways you wish me to take. Show me your path for my life. Father, in all this the biggest thing I ask of you right now is to cover my children in your protection. You know there many needs. You know how hurt and confused they are. Show them how to love you Lord God, as I love you. Soften their hearts, and give them a hunger for you and the peace you give. Guide their thoughts and decisions toward honoring and loving you God.
Thank you again Father for being an all knowing, loving and faithful God. And all this I pray in your son's name
